Packaging Technologist

Job Responsibilities:

A Packaging Technologist is a key role in RD Dept. with responsibility to manage and deliver new product development projects in term of packaging from strategic concept to commercialization including renovation projects. Packaging Technologist provides direction and uses influencing skills to align with others partners and ensure delivery of projects on time and to agreed budget.

He/she is responsible for hands-on delivery of longer term innovation projects and leveraging external suppliers to build knowledge and achieve results. This position is expected to provide packaging technical expertise to facilitate the idea generation and improvement.

Packaging technologist is expected having influence an active role in driving cross functional alignment.

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Main qualifications preferably in Food Technology, Industrial or chemical Engineering.
• Having experience in the FMCG industry (minimum of 2 years), good knowledge of general FMCG product & packaging and also manufacturing system and processes.
• Creativity, innovative and passion on packaging.
• Having strong leadership skills, able to lead internally and also cross functional project.
• Having general project management skills (able to lead multiple projects & monitor the progress as schedule & quality goal).
• Planning and organizing skills (able to organize and prioritize schedule to meet deadline).
• Having good Insight, problem solving and good decision making with enough consideration.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills to represent to the others.
• Good Presentation and Computer skills (especially for AI, Photoshop/freehand).
• Achievement Orientation with a “Can Do” attitude.
• Can manage complexity and uncertainty.
• Comfortable with high level of change.
